What is Amazon Vendor?
Amazon Vendor is Amazon's business-to-business platform where Amazon buys products directly from manufacturers and suppliers to resell. As a vendor, you sell wholesale to Amazon, and they handle retail sales to consumers. Conjura tracks your purchase orders and payments from Amazon.
Fees & Costs
What fees does Amazon Vendor charge?
Amazon Vendor operates differently from other platforms - there are no traditional "fees" deducted from your sales. Instead, Amazon purchases your products at wholesale prices and sells them at retail prices.
The Amazon Vendor API does not expose deductions, chargeback amounts, or reason codes.
How does Conjura calculate my Amazon Vendor revenue?
Conjura's Gross Revenue is calculated as Net Cost Γ Quantity Ordered.
Why is my revenue based on "Net Cost" instead of "List Price"?
Net Cost represents what Amazon actually pays you. List Price is what Amazon charges consumers, but that's Amazon's revenue, not the vendor's.
Store & Channel Data
How is Amazon Vendor categorized in my reports?
Sales Channel: Amazon Vendor
Sales Channel Category: Marketplace
Platform: Amazon Vendor

Why do I see multiple "stores" for Amazon Vendor?
If you have connected multiple vendor accounts, each will appear as a separate store identifier in your reports.
Common Data Questions
What date is used in Conjura's reporting?
Amazon Vendor provides multiple date fields for each Purchase Order.
Purchase Order Date: When Amazon created the purchase order.
Purchase Order Changed Date: When the order was last modified.
Purchase Order State Changed Date: When the order status changed (e.g., from "Open" to "Closed").
Conjura uses the Purchase Order Date for reporting.
Why don't I see tax information?
Amazon Vendor currently doesn't provide detailed tax information at the line item level. Conjura sets tax values to zero until Amazon begins supplying this data.
What are Purchase Order Statuses?
Amazon Vendor orders progress through different states:
Open: Order placed but not yet fulfilled
Closed: Order completed
Cancelled: Order cancelled before fulfillment
Why don't I see refund or return data?
Amazon Vendor handles returns differently than marketplace sellers. Since you've already been paid wholesale by Amazon, consumer returns are typically Amazon's responsibility, not directly reported to vendors.
Why might my Amazon Vendor data be delayed?
Amazon Vendor updates purchase order data less frequently than real-time marketplace platforms. There may be delays between when Amazon places orders and when the data appears in Conjura.
