Understanding Product Lead Times & Target Stock

This import allows you to configure procurement parameters for your products, enabling Conjura's inventory planning features to generate accurate reorder recommendations. By specifying how long each product takes to arrive from its supplier, how much stock you want to hold, and supplier ordering constraints, you give the system the information it needs to help you avoid stockouts and overstocking.

When to Use This Import

Use this import when you want to:

  • Set lead times: How many days it takes for a product to arrive after ordering from a supplier

  • Define target stock levels: How many days of stock you want to maintain for each product

  • Specify ordering constraints: Minimum order quantities and pack sizes for supplier orders

  • Add supplier information: Associate products with their suppliers

  • Provide product dimensions: Cubic metre volume for container planning

If your connected platform (e.g. Brightpearl, Linnworks) already provides some of this data, your imported values will override the system values. Any fields left blank will fall back to system defaults.

How to Manually Add Product Lead Times, Target Stock:

  1. Navigate to the Custom Data Import tab under ‘Connectors’ on the left-hand side navigation bar.

  2. Select ‘Product Lead Times & Target Stock’.

  3. Fill out the table provided with the following details:

    • Product Key (pre-populated, read-only): Internal product identifier.

    • Product SKU (pre-populated, read-only): Your product SKU.

    • Product Name (pre-populated, read-only): Your product name.

    • Supplier Key (optional): An identifier for the product's supplier. If your connected platform provides supplier data, this will be pre-populated in the template. You can enter a new key for a new supplier.

    • Supplier Name (optional): The name of the supplier. New supplier names entered here will be added to the Supplier dimension in your reports.

    • Lead Time (Days) (optional): Number of days from placing an order with the supplier to receiving the stock. Defaults to 14 days if not provided.

    • Target Days of Stock (optional): Number of days of stock you want to hold for this product after replenishment. Defaults to 30 days if not provided.

    • Minimum Order Quantity (optional): The minimum number of units that can be ordered from the supplier.

    • Pack Size (Units) (optional): If the product is ordered in packs or bundles from the supplier, the number of units per pack. Defaults to 1 if not provided. Reorder quantities will be rounded up to the nearest multiple of this value.

    • Product CBM (optional): The cubic metre volume of the product. Used for container fill calculations. Defaults to 0 if not provided.

  4. Repeat for additional costs and select ‘Submit Data’.

Your data will sync overnight and appear in your report.

Using CSV for Bulk Uploads:

Download the CSV template from the Product Lead Times & Target Stock page. The template includes a row per connected store with example values pre-populated. Fill in your data offline, delete all rows you don't need, and upload by dragging and dropping the completed file onto the editor.

How Priority Works

The system uses a priority for each field:

  1. Custom import (this import) - used if provided

  2. Connected platform value - from your ERP (e.g., Brightpearl, Linnworks) if available

  3. System default - fallback values (14 days lead time, 30 days target stock)

This means you can selectively override specific fields. For example, if your ERP has supplier information but inaccurate lead times, you can import just the lead time without needing to re-enter the supplier details.

Managing Your Imports

To remove imported lead time data, locate the file under My Imported Data in the custom data import tab and select the delete button. Products will then revert to their connected platform values or system defaults.
